Your prospective job:

For our client Airbus Operations you are acting as a Transport General Cargo Specialist (d/f/m) at the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

• Transport Process definition and adaptation
• Interface and network creation between entities as e.g. ASA, Airbus GmbH
• Creation and implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• IT customization and implementation (usage of Transport Apps for plants and suppliers)
• Analysis on improvement and rationalization for all flows
• Managing transportation flows both Inbound and Outbound to achieve service level goals, requirements and expectations
• Managing the administration and workload associated with Transportation
• Working with the Management Team in the development of new processes to achieve service excellence
• Performing additional tasks and assignments as directed by Management
• Single point of contact for the transportation flows of Airbus Aerostructures and Airbus GmbH (formerly PAG)
• Coordination transport processes between the different Airbus sites
• Creation of Transport Specifications in order to meet internal customers requirements
• Perform controlling of service providers
• Create, challenge, validate change requests, ad-hoc service requests
• Complaint and Claim management
• On-Site support within different Airbus Aerostructures and Airbus GmbH sites (NOR, VAR, BRE and AUG)
• Partial responsibility on safety (Fremdfirmenkoordination) for all 4 sites
• Support preparation of capital expenditure and AOP planning

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Supply Chain / Logistics, Economics or a similar qualification
• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding clerk or a similar qualification
• First professional experience in customer service, supplier management, supply chain / logistics and transport
• Knowledge in Google Workspace
• Negotiation-proof knowledge of German and English in spoken and written language
