- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with a minimum of 4 yrs. experience as a Applications Engineer or experience in Industrial manufacturing processes.
- Detailed orientated, passion for developing and improving processes. Self-motivated with a hands-on approach. Attention to detail and ablity to manage multiple projects in a timely manner in addition to strong analytical/statistical analysis skills are desirable.
- Strategic thinking, project execution, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and function independently are desirable. Must have a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to both internal and external customers.
- Proficient in MS Office, sales contact management software, and the ability to learn new computer systems. Experience with Solidworks / AutoCAD is preferred.
- Project management training and experience, product management experience, team lead or mentor capacity and experience working in the material handling industry are preferred.
Qualifications
YOUR TASKS
- Learn and apply vacuum automation theory and practical experience, product line knowledge, as well as market and competitor knowledge to recommend safe and correct solutions, and also determine the right solution options for unique applications presented by customers.
- Employ project management skills, test and specify products projects for customers, ultimetely, build rapport with and support end customers, distributors and outside sales team with product support questions for the office and occasionally on site.
- Provide and support quotations to customers and distributors, as needed. Attend trainings offsite, including at the parent company, and occasionally attend trade shows.
- Support other colleagues when necessary, including answering phones and assisting in assembly services, as well as, providing market and product feedback to Product Management.
