Your prospective job:

For our client Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Technical Publications specialist for UAS Crew / Operator manuals (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
The Technical Information and Data (TID) department makes an important contribution to the development and operation of products by creating and processing operating, maintenance and spare parts documentation. In this area, as the “TID New Programs & Solutions” the team is responsible for making TID fit for the new future with concepts.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop the project specific rules and procedures for the Crew Technical Publications (S1000D Business Rules)
• Prepare regulations, authoring guidelines and work instructions to ensure comprehensive and homogenous authoring
• Define and establish the process and tool setup for the Crew/Operator Technical Publications data production
• Specify and configure the required tool environment in a common working environment (CWE)
• Authoring of the descriptions and procedures in a multifunctional team
• Contribute to define the overall TechPub governance towards the industrial partners and the Nations
• Coordination of TechPub activities with involved stakeholders and industrial partners
• Contribute to develop the TechPub IETP Browser system related to Crew/Operator manuals
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Support Engineering Align with other disciplines (Services, Engineering, Airworthiness, Human Factors Engineering etc) to ensure availability of all necessary information and data
• Contribute to the qualification and certification activities
• Train the TechPub community in applying the defined rules and processes
• Ensure the contractual deliveries in time, cost and quality
• Continuous checking and optimization of given processes and procedures

Your profile:

• Completed studies in aerospace, computer science or a similar qualification
• At least three years of experience working in an aerospace technical publications or training environment is required
• Ability for clear formulation of specifications and requirements is necessary
• Background in (military) aviation is needed, ideally experience in unmanned systems, Aircrew and flight operational
• Deep knowledge of scope and structure of typical manuals like AFM, QRH, MMEL is required
• Deep knowledge of international aerospace TID standards (ASD S1000D, ATA 2300) is mandatory
• Knowledge of European airworthiness regulations is a plus (EASA/EMAR 21, 145)
• Experience in writing and exchanging structured content using XML is needed
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office
• Experience in writing and exchanging structured content using XML
• Fluent German and English in spoken and written language
• Knowledge of Spanish or French would be a plus
