Your prospective job:

For our client in the aerospace industry at the location Munich you act as Software Verification & Test Engineer (m/f/d).
The vacancy is a software verification position for aircraft control and monitoring systems.
You will join a team of engineers designing operating software and application software for embedded systems in safety critical equipment.

Your responsibilities:

• Contribution within the development of safety critical embedded real time SW for aircraft systems according to RTCA/DO-178B, Level A to Level D
• Adaptation of existing test strategies to cover the needs of new application.
• Software Test Case Specification against Software Requirements Specification (High Level Requirements Testing and Low Level requirements testing) using Python or IBM - Rational Test Real Time (RTRT)
• Development and Implementation of SW low level and high level test procedures
• Traceability of test cases against software requirements
• Performance of manual and automatic SW verification tests of developed Software in simulation environment and at hardware in the loop test facilities
• Generation of Test Report
• Review of Software Test Cases and Results

Your profile:

• A degree in engineering (system-, software-, electronic engineering) or an alternative graduation
• Professional experience in Software Verification & Testing
• Generic knowledge of development of high level and low level software requirements
• Programming experience in C, Ada95 and/or Assembler Code
• Experience in code analysis
• Experience with V-model development cycle (preferably of safety critical software acc. to RTCA/DO-178)
• Knowledge in Python Test Script Language , InCircuit-Debugger, MISRA guidelines and DOORS
• Experience with DIMENSIONS, Synergy, IBM - Rational Test RealTime
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
