• Independently develop and coordinate design and development concepts
• Create CAD designs for ZSB battery cells and their subcomponents
• Verify technical feasibility and manufacturability with consultants and suppliers, ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Align design efforts with battery component development, quality, and manufacturing processes
• Create and evaluate mechanical simulations, properties, and tolerance scales
• Develop Catia-based calculation tools to support and streamline the design of battery cells and their components, as well as new technologies in cell design
• Generate 3D cell models and drawings, along with the necessary technical documentation
• Create a BOM for prototype and series cells
• Prepare and share CAD data and drawings for project milestones

• Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on design, or a similar field
• Excellent experience in CAD design
• Professional experience in the field of battery cells, batteries, or battery modules
• Experience in creating templates and presenting them in committees
• Knowledge in materials science for metals and plastics
• Strong proficiency in Catia V5 and KVS/Connect

• Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
• 30 days leave per year + 10 days unpaid leave
