We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Encashment Agent to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role ensures strategic coordination between legal teams, external debt recovery partners, and our organization to optimize debt recovery processes.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing compliance, reducing recovery timelines, analyzing case patterns, and implementing automated solutions to achieve financial efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Coordination with Legal and Debt Recovery Teams: serve as the primary point of contact with lawyers and external debt collection agencies for escalated cases.
Provide strategic recommendations to improve debt recovery processes and timelines. - Advanced Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with payment agreements, deadlines, and legal requirements.
Analyze overdue payment patterns and recommend process improvements.
Deliver regular reports on debt recovery status and case updates to senior management. - Legal and Documentation Management:
Oversee and maintain legal case records using advanced PC-supported systems.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation provided to encashment partners.
Manage transmission of high-value invoices and complex cases to collection agencies. - Stakeholder Communication and Support:
Address advanced queries regarding payment plans and negotiate revised terms as necessary.
Conduct thorough status inquiries with collection partners, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Support VAT refund processes by preparing detailed legal and financial documentation. - Process Optimization and Compliance:
Identify opportunities for automation and workflow efficiency in legal and debt recovery processes.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards related to debt recovery.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in debt recovery, legal case management, or financial operations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of legal and financial documentation in debt collection.
- Proficiency in advanced PC-supported systems for case management (e.g., SAP, CRM tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Strong negotiation skills to handle complex payment agreements and disputes.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with VAT processes and related documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations in debt collection and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
