Your prospective job:

You will work for our customer Airbus Defence and Space at the Manching site as Simulation IT Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Define and develop DevOps solutions and tools for the IT Infrastructure as well as various Software Development Environments
• Setup and maintain the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Pipelines
• Define together with the software developers innovative IT Infrastructure concepts for the next generation of Simulators
• Consult and support the various software development teams to boost their development processes and operations to higher efficiency by applying CI/CD principles and means
• Continuously revise and improve the capabilities and reliability of the IT infrastructure
• Develop, implement and maintain infrastructure services by taking an active role in implementing an Infrastructure-as-Code paradigm across all the services
• Support the smooth and reliable operation of the IT Infrastructure as well as the internal IaaS and PaaS Services and the underlying technologies (e.g. Proxmox, Container Platforms, Lifecycle Management, Jenkins, Nexus, SVN, Moodle ...)

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps and CI/CD Automation Development
• Additional experience with moder Software Development and/or the operation and design of Enterprise-level IT Infrastructure and Tools
• Experience with dynamic Povisioning and Immutable Systems
• Solid Multi-Distro Linux Skills
• Experience in one or more Scripting / programming languages (Python, Bash, C++, Go...)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• German knowledge is a plus
