• Act as gatekeeper of purchase order (PO) issuing process incl. the continuous improvement
• Ensure the POs can be correctly issued in SAP and sent to related vendors in time
• Provide process guidance to internal users if there is doubts or questions
• Work together with accounting team and support the monthly/yearly accrual processs
• Manage the interface between accounting and procurement to ensure the payment process properly conducted / Manage the interface between suppliers and procurement to ensure the PO well received and consumed as planned in the signed contract
• Manage the interface between internal users and procurement to ensure the right process followed and to provide necessary process support Sourcing Activities
• Ensure efficient and effective sourcing processes securing optimal pricing for defined quality, innovation, timelines and quantities
• Enforce smart Europe GmbH’s legal requirements (e.g. Terms and Conditions) / Act as first point of contact for business partners.
• Ensure Procurement’s representations in relevant projects
• Ensure effective application of negotiation tools and strategies

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration or comparable degree
• Experience in purchasing or comparable fields / Working experience in multinational projects
• Experience in a Automotive & digital sales context would be beneficial
• Proficient IT-knowledge (MS Office) and expert of SAP S4HANA MM module, especially the PR + PO modules
• Legal knowledge basics (commercial law, product liability)
• Knowledge of other eProcurement solutions (e.g. Ariba, Coupa) is advantageous
• Fluent English on negotiation level / Other languages are appreciated
• Ability to quickly understand complex situations and to structure / simplify them
• Excellent problem solving skills and able to work under time pressure
• Willing to work in an international and multicultural team
