• Tracks any evolution on valorized Bill of Material
• Manages prototype development at suppliers and tooling orders for program items
• Validates with the support of legal department all contractual and warranty documents between company and suppliers
• Supports supplier development process and ensures suppliers are aligned with project and required objectives
• Encourages suppliers to develop technically and economically optimized products and services
• Proposes cost savings and contributes to improvement of material margin through sourcing alternatives or introduction of innovative solutions
• Interfaces with global purchasing organization for local sourcing and localization plans, and technical center
• Anticipate cost and development demand to enhance supplier and product development.Buyer selects suppliers and negotiates contract terms in accordance with required objectives; Quality, Cost, Timing, Risk (QCTR) from early stage of development. Work for Program purchasing area
• Buyer sources suppliers of components, services, tooling and specific equipment and negotiates contract terms in accordance with project objectives, with purchasing strategy, with internal and external customer requirements
• Responsible for on-time delivery of necessary components during development and ramp-up phases by working with other functional areas and suppliers globally
• Contributes to cost to market approach while proactively suggesting competitive solutions, which ensure reliability, safety, compliance to norms and regulations of product/system and to ergonomic rules

• Experience in purchasing area (preferably in the automotive sector) or relevant
• Strong negotiator
• Fluency in foreign language(s) business level, English
• Strong organizational skills and prioritize tasks to meet department objectives with timely manner
• Understand products development (project/program) processTracks any evolution on valorized Bill of Material
• Anticipate cost and development demand to enhance supplier and product development
