Your prospective job:

For our customer Airbus Helicopters you are acting as a Certification Qualification Engineer Light Twins (m/f/d) at the location Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities:

  • Management of certification projects including all associated project management tasks (planning, reporting, risk management, etc.) – civil and military
  • Preparation of the certification basis and requirements baseline for modifications of existing or new helicopter variants
  • Definition and coordination of the certification strategy
  • Development of compliance demonstration programs and coordination with relevant departments, the Chief Engineer, and authorities
  • Coordination of all certification-related activities within the overall project planning
  • Use of the Airbus Helicopters Airworthiness Network to ensure achievement of certification objectives
  • Review and validation of compliance documents in terms of fulfillment of airworthiness regulations and specifications
  • Review and validation of compliance documents in terms of completeness and mutual consistency
  • Harmonization of relevant compliance documents with responsible authorities
  • Release of documents within the privileges of the design organization
  • Point of contact for responsible authorities on certification matters
  • Contribution to harmonization of future certification projects (e.g. in the context of proposals)
  • Coordination of activities for obtaining flight clearances for test aircraft and prototypes
  • Support in harmonizing future certification projects (e.g. within the scope of proposals)

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in Engineering, aerospace, Mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of work experience in Engineering and Development
  • Experience in the development of helicopters or helicopter systems
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Experience in project management, particularly of transnational projects, would be desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in the certification of aircraft and/or systems
  • Fluent English skills both spoken and written
  • German and French skills desirable
