Ihre zukünftige Arbeitsstelle:

You are acting as an Techniker Aerodynamik Labor (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Integration and Instrumentation of wind tunnel models
• Integration of mechanical and electromechanical components
• Strain gage application
• Sensor integration
• Support model / calibration assembly concept generation in coordination with relevant stakeholders both inside and outside of aerodynamics
• Maintenance and repair of wind tunnel models and measurement technology / data acquisition systems
• Assistance to measurement technology, electronics and wind tunnel engineers with manual tasks in the aerodynamics laboratory and during wind tunnel tests (occasional travel)
• Management of tool and inventory stock
• Support the quality assurance of outsourced components (participation in buy-off on site)
• Support model fabrication using in-house 3D print
• Contribution to test preparation
• Contribution to wind tunnel test execution in external wind tunnel facilities

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Electrical Engineering or comparable
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge about and experience in the application of measurement technology typically used in the wind tunnel test environment
• Hands-on attitude in the Aerodynamics Laboratory and during wind tunnel tests as well as experience in model handling
• Experience in MS-Office
• Knowledge and experience in 3D printing is an advantage
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel (3x per year 1-4 weeks / USA, NL and within Germany)
