As a Senior UI Designer, you are responsible for the visual design and continuous evolution of our digital products (portal, app, website, webshop). You significantly shape the look & feel of our user interfaces and ensure a consistent, high‑quality UI experience across all platforms.
Your responsibilities include:
- You take responsibility for the visual design and optimization of digital products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- You develop, maintain and expand a consistent design language based on the style guide or design system – from concept to implementation.
- You further develop and maintain the company-wide design system and ensure clear, accessible documentation.
- You conceptualize and design microinteractions and define as well as document consistent interaction logics within the design system.
- You closely align UI concepts and test versions with UX designers, product teams and engineering.
- You create prototypes for usability tests and iterate your designs based on user feedback.
- You ensure responsive, pixel‑perfect implementation across different devices and hand over designs with clear, structured specifications to engineering.
- You conduct UI quality checks in accordance with the design system and defined standards.
- You ensure accessibility, consistency and adherence to UI best practices.
- You take responsibility for coordination and alignment within the interdisciplinary development team.
- You support and mentor junior UI designers and actively share your knowledge and best practices.
- You bring several years of experience in UI design for digital products.
- You have a strong sense for visual design, typography, color and interaction design.
- You have solid experience in building and maintaining design systems.
- You collaborate confidently and in a structured way with UX, product management and engineering.
- You are highly proficient in common design and prototyping tools.
- You stand out through strong quality awareness, a structured way of working and a collaborative mindset.
