Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as Buyer (m/f/d) in the Cabin Floor to Floor Team for Airbus Commercial programs at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to procurement activities
• Manage tenders and contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing conditions according to company requirements
• Monitor contracts (from innovation to production phase) with suppliers and stakeholders
• Ensure full application of the terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle (logistics, support, quality, costs)
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and implement projects to optimize customer value
• Minimizing total cost of ownership and risks
• Contribute to (sub-)multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tender, contract, and contract lifecycle phases
• Lead commercial negotiations for changes to products in the portfolio

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics, Supply Chain Quality or comparable
• Professional experience in Procurement (Operational and Strategic), Supply Chain and Contract Management
• Experience in Finance is advantageous
• Experience at Airbus is advantageous
• Good knowledge in Project Management, Process Management and Risk Management
• Good skills in MS-Excel / Word, SAP and Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills spoken and written
• German skills advantageous
