- Our client is a US-headquartered, family-owned logistics company that recently started their European expansion by opening a European HQ and a new Distribution Center in Germany (Frankfurt)
- With several DCs in the US & Asia and 7000 employees globally, our client is already pushing for further expansion across Europe by entering Eastern Europe in 2025
- For the first approx. six months their new Business Analyst will be employed with us. However, our client is determined to take over a qualified candidate into a permanent positio after a short period of time.
- Responsible for functional business analysis, requirements definition, and validation for Information Solutions projects
- Functions in the Business Analyst role primarily supporting distribution center operations to ensure IT systems support internal operations and integrations with key customers
- Works closely with supply chain operations to timely investigate any IT related issues, determine root cause, and collaborate to resolve issues
- Delivers system knowledge about new workflow processes
- Follows business analysis standards and guidelines and monitors compliance
- Functions in the Project Manager role on assigned projects to create timelines, execute activities, and drive project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive working experience in the field of Business Analysis
- Enterprise-level (ERP = Oracle JDEdwards) business analysis experience
- Project Lead / Project Management experience preferred
- Good communication skills to multiple levels of the organization
- Fluency in English written and spoken, German knowledge desirable, but not a must
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio
- Facilitation and negotiation skills and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
- 30 days leave per year
