Predoctoral Researcher (m/f/d)
(Pay Scale E 13 TV-L, 50%)
in the research group of Comparative Politics at the earliest possible date for an initial duration of three years (with the possibility of extension for another two years).
Your Responsibilities:
- Participation in research projects in the field of quantitative analysis of political attitudes and political behavior in contexts of extremism, violence, and autocratic rule
- Teaching in the field of Comparative Political Science for two contact hours per week within the bachelor's and master's programs of the institute
- Involvement in the preparation and follow-up of courses as well as the supervision of bachelor's and master's theses
- Opportunity for further academic qualification (PhD)

Requirements:
- Completed academic degree in political and/or social sciences with a very good grade
- Solid knowledge of quantitative methods (data collection, processing, and analysis) and corresponding software skills (Stata or R)
- Good oral and written proficiency in English
Ideally, you should:
- Knowledge and research interests in the field of comparative analysis of political attitudes and/or political behavior
- Basic knowledge of German, French and/or Spanish
