• Our client develops safety-critical embedded hardware and software for the aerospace and defence industries.

• Design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor)
• Creation of 2D drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
• Performing tolerance analyses, strength assessments, and thermal analyses
• Collaboration with production, procurement, quality assurance, and external suppliers

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
• Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD system
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience in the design and development of cooling systems (e.g., heat exchangers) (experience from the automotive sector would also be relevant)
• Experience in dynamic thermal modeling of liquid cooling systems
• Experience specifying and designing mechanical housings for electronics in harsh environments
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing methods and related design constraints
• Familiarity with standards, materials science, manufacturing processes, and tolerance management
• Good written and spoken English, German is a plus
• Due to the nature of the project (military context), only applicants with the nationality (by birth and current status) of a NATO or NATO partner country can be considered.

• Vacation: 30 days per year
• 50% remote work
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
