Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field.
Minimum of 3+ year's industry experience in the automation industry.
Industry expertise in thechnology and sales channels.
Strategic thinker and project execution.
The ability to travel with daily notice.
Must have and maintain valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualifications

Develop and execute daily on a regional development plan which balances sales across all products and sales channels, and increases mindshare and awareness within the region towards the Schmalz brand for material handling applications.
Provide distributor partners and direct target accounts with insight on latest Schmalz products and technologies. Position Schmalz brand as the global leader in material handling technology.
Gain critical insight into accounts current and future product needs as they relate to vacuum and communicate those clearly to US Product Management for product development pipeline.
Communicate frequently with all levels at distributor partners, inside sales support in Raleigh, product management, and sales management.
Visit with customers 4 days a week on average, and complete month-end administrative tasks on time.
Attend industry trade shows and customer open houses as needed.
Other job duties as assigned.
