Your prospective job:

For our renown client Airbus Defence and Space at the location Manching you act as Engineer Structural Dynamics, Acoustics and Vibration (m/f/d).
You are joining the Team belonging to the Centre of Competence Flight Physics (Air Power Engineering). The mission is to design, analyse, certify, qualify, maintain into service and ensure the continued airworthiness of all the airvehicles developed within the company.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the qualification of aircraft systems to mechanical environments, including vibration, shocks and acoustics
• Define mechanical requirements for system installation on aircraft
• Evaluate experimental evidence based on qualification tests
• Develop passive and active noise and vibration control solutions for existing and future aircraft
• Develop and validate numerical models in relation with noise generation, propagation and transmission, as well as structural dynamic response to acoustic and vibratory loads
• Develop and support competitive, innovative, mature and safe air vehicles focussing on noise and vibration

Your profile:

• Completed masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Acoustics and Vibration or comparable
• Professional experience in Aerospace Engineering and in the field of Acoustics
• Experience with Structural Dynamic Testing and with Data Acquisition, Data Handling, Data Processing and Analysis
• Knowledge in Definition of Vibration Environments and Knowledge of Vibration Qualification Processes
• Knowledge in Modal Testing and Analysis
• Basic Knowledge of Linux and good experience with Matlab
• Good knowledge in MS-Office
• Experience with MIL-STD-810 would be an advantage
• High proficiency in English both written and spoken
• German language skills would be a plus
