Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Helicopters you are acting as a Flight Control Software, Tools and Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Donauwörth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Development, detailing, integration and certification of Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) for helicopter and UAV applications – civil and military
- Support of verification and validation activities within the HELIONIX autopilot projects
- Creation, further development and maintenance of simulation models and software tools for verification and validation tasks
- Analysis, definition, execution and evaluation of system and integration tests
- Collaboration in closed-loop simulation environments incorporating real hardware components
- Support of Equipment Engineering as well as production support for autopilot systems and their installation units
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary development, integration and test teams
- Optimization of methods, processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality
- Participation in research and technology topics in the field of Guidance & Control
- Technical support in the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions for autopilot systems
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable
- Several years of work experience in Development, Research and Development and Aerospace
- Experience working with simulation environments, test systems or verification and validation processes
- Basic understanding of the architecture and functionality of simulators
- Good knowledge in Unix, Python and MS-Office
- Knowledge in SCADE and C/C++
- Fluent English skills both spoken and written
- Good German skills
- French is an advantage
