• Refine and adapt frame-CAD files for integration of EC lenses, flex cables, and PCB sub-assemblies
• Define and coordinate system-level testing protocols to evaluate mechanical robustness, switching performance, and electrical integrity
• Support in design-for-assembly, routing of electrical components within limited space, and contact placement
• Explore options to manufacture (e.g. perform 3D printing prototyping and coordinate with externals)
• Coordinate with external design studios and internal optics/electronics teams to ensure feasibility of design updates
• Execute and document test plans, contribute to test fixture concepts for later automation

• Experience in mechanical and electrical system integration for small-form devices (e.g., preferably smart eyewear, or alternatively earbuds, or AR/VR components)
• Skilled in CAD modification (Catia, SolidWorks) and tolerance management for tight assemblies, especially for smart eyewear frames
• Knowledge of flex cable integration, PCB housing, and micro-connector alignment
• Strong background in system-level testing and validation (optical, mechanical, electrical)
• Understanding of EMC, connector reliability, and optical alignment in wearable systems
