• Coordinate and support engineering across various disciplines
• Assist in requirement definition and identification of key technical drivers
• Develop concepts, perform system analyses and evaluate design trade-offs for mechatronic systems, using models or simulations where needed
• Select suitable, state-of-the-art components and technologies
• Prepare technical documentation in English
• Plan and carry out testing activities
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning, both internally and with suppliers

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Broad understanding of disciplines such as machine dynamics, vibration isolation, sensor/actuator integration, electrical engineering, system modeling, testing and cleanroom design
• Independent work style, strong communication, and ability to collaborate across disciplines and sites
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German advantageous
• Hands-on experience in developing custom machinery or test systems
  
• Familiarity with structured product development processes
• Experience in high-tech sectors such as aerospace, vacuum/semiconductor equipment, scientific instruments, or MedTech
• Bonus skills: Familiarity with mechanisms and standards (ISO/CE), FMEA, Root Cause Analysis/8D, V-Model, or technical project management
