- You develop and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and implement user-centric features together with an interdisciplinary team.
- You contribute to the further development of our Customer Product Services by delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-quality Android features for our DKV customers.
- You ensure a performant and stable app through clean architecture, efficient code, and automated testing.
- You integrate backend services via RESTful APIs and ensure reliable data synchronization.
- You actively participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical discussions.
- You analyze and resolve production issues such as crashes and performance bottlenecks.
- Additionally, you work in an agile, international team and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and mobile app security.
- You have solid experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin.
- You’re familiar with the Android SDK, Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation), and architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- You’ve already integrated RESTful APIs and managed local data using tools like Room or DataStore.
- You work confidently with coroutines, dependency injection, and reactive programming paradigms.
- You also have strong knowledge of writing unit tests and feel comfortable working in CI/CD environments with Git.
- You optimize app performance, manage memory and lifecycle efficiently, and are well-versed in the release process on the Google Play Store.
- You bring excellent communication skills and enjoy working proactively in a team – even in agile, distributed environments.
- Nice to have: experience with mobile payment solutions, especially HCE (Host Card Emulation), integration of map services like Google Maps or HERE Maps, and knowledge of turn-by-turn navigation or similar guidance solutions.
