Your prospective job:

For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you will be working as a Program Certification Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Establishing the type certification basis and type design definition
• Developing compliance demonstration programmes Releasing airworthiness documentation to the National Military Airworthiness Authorities (NMAA)
• Coordinate certification projects with NMAA
• Coordinate the companys Engineering departments, as well as the System Support Center to ensure certification objectives are met
• Coordinate the Minor / Major Modification Certification activities, or repair changes
• Delivering Airworthiness Risk Assessments for Reportable Occurrences and launch associated actions
• Negotiating with AA the action plan to remove unsafe conditions
• Ensuring certification of inspections and modification Service Bulletins
• Ensuring the development of appropriate airworthiness directives Providing advice and expertise to the Chief Engineer and the Engineering Teams in general on certification and airworthiness issues
• Reviewing and accepting airworthiness deliverables from engineering departments

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of work experience in engineering, aerospace, process improvement and technical documentation
• Good knowledge in area military aviation especially in Airworthiness is required
• Knowledge of aviation law and licensing regulations is mandatory
• Very good knowledge in MS-Office
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Fluent English skills both spoken and written
• Good German skills
