The Geo team is committed to enhancing our
digital presence and improving customer engagement through innovative mapping
solutions that offer detailed geographic data and visualization. We develop and
maintain applications and services that utilize geographic information systems
(GIS) to provide valuable insights and functionalities to our customers.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for
shaping and enhancing the user experience of GEO product. You will work closely
with other designers, product owners, and developers to ensure that interaction
with our products is as simple and intuitive as possible.
What
to Expect:
- Leading and conducting user research projects to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
- Taking responsibility for research design, including selecting appropriate methodologies, formulating questions, and recruiting target groups.
- Developing personas, user journeys, and wireframes to illustrate the user experience.
- Designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, considering current design trends and best practices.
- Ensuring a consistent design language and behavior of UI elements in line with the style guide or design system.
- Maintaining style guides and patterns, and further developing the DKV Design System.
- Conducting usability tests and gathering feedback to inform design decisions.
- Collaborating with product management and development teams to ensure user experience is considered throughout all stages of product development.
- Contributing to the development of design guidelines and standards.
- At least 5+ years of experience in UX design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in user research, interaction design, and visual design.
- A preference for the human-centered design process when developing interactive systems.
- Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., FIGMA, Useberry, Miro) and enthusiasm for learning new ones.
- Passion for iterative, agile work (e.g., Scrum).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex design concepts.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
