Head of Commercial Platforms (gn) full-time / part-time (hybrid)
Your job at DKV Mobility? As part of a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payment solutions, you will work in an exciting environment. Our tasks are defined by our Purpose: To drive the transition towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility. We offer you numerous opportunities to help shape the mobility of tomorrow in a dynamic and agile environment. Our approximately 2,700 employees throughout Europe are united by a common passion: to give their best every day for our customers in more than 50 countries. True to our claim: You drive, we care. Become part of our diverse, dedicated and unique team!
As Head of Commercial Platforms, you are responsible for the strategic direction and continuous development of the entire commercial tech stack—across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and eCommerce. You lead an international Product Owner organization, manage key tool and platform decisions, and ensure that systems deliver not just an "IT landscape" but real business impact.
- You lead an international Product Owner organization and define clear ownership, priorities, and governance structures for all commercial systems at DKV Mobility.
- You manage RFX, vendor, and business case processes for commercial systems and bring decisions to final approval in close alignment with IT.
- You make well-informed make-or-buy decisions, choosing between standard solutions, custom development, or tool replacement based on business value, scalability, and cost.
- You are responsible for the overall prioritization of requirements from Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and eCommerce within a unified tool roadmap, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and available delivery capacities.
- You drive the continuous development of the commercial tooling landscape—including RFC funnel, backlog management, prioritization, and close alignment with IT, CoEs, and other delivery partners.
- You ensure rollout, adoption, and effectiveness of platforms in day-to-day operations through enablement, usage governance, performance tracking, and optimization based on feedback and data.
- You actively contribute to ensuring stable system performance and high platform usability—for both internal users and external customers across all touchpoints.
- You proactively drive automation and AI adoption in the commercial domain and translate relevant use cases into scalable, operational solutions with measurable business impact.
- Several years of experience in building and leading international commercial systems or product organizations, ideally with multiple Product Owners, a complex tech stack, and cross-functional governance.
- You bring extensive leadership experience and know how to develop people, establish clear accountability, and keep teams steady—even when things are shifting on the roadmap on one side and escalating on the other.
- Experience in building and scaling agile product organizations for internal platforms, with a centralized demand, backlog, and prioritization model across multiple domains.
• Strong hands-on experience with integrated commercial system landscapes across CRM, ERP, DXP, contact center, and AI, including clearly defined system roles, stable integrations, and consistent data flows. - Extensive experience in RFX/RFP processes, tool selection, vendor management, contract negotiation, as well as make-or-buy and consolidation decisions.
- You have deep knowledge of system architecture and integration design and can translate commercial stacks end-to-end into robust capabilities, interfaces, and data flows.
- Strong ability to translate requirements from Sales, Marketing, Service, and eCommerce into scalable, cross-system solution designs—functionally sound, technically feasible, and business-oriented.
- Professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a clear advantage in our international environment. The role naturally operates across functions, regions, and stakeholder boundaries.
- You are a team player with high standards for quality and impact, challenge the status quo, think in solutions, and have continuous improvement in your DNA rather than treating it as just an annual objective.
