- Design, develop, and implement Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology CAPEX projects
- Configure DeltaV control modules, equipment modules, phases, recipes, graphics, alarms, and system interfaces
- Develop and maintain automation documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, test protocols, and validation records
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP, and data integrity requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Support system architecture design, hardware configuration, network integration, and third-party system interfaces
- Troubleshoot automation, hardware, software, and communication issues during project execution and operations
- Participate in change controls, deviation investigations, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Process Engineering, IT/OT, Validation, Operations, and Project teams
- Provide technical support during commissioning, startup, handover, and operational phases
- Contribute to the successful delivery of complex automation projects in a regulated environment
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV system engineering and configuration
- Strong knowledge of process automation, control systems, and system integration
- Experience developing and maintaining GxP-compliant documentation in regulated industries
- Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes
- Experience integrating DeltaV systems with PLCs, MES, and process equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within CAPEX project environments
- German and/or English language skills requiredGerman language skills required
- English language skills are an advantage
